Peter Ngan has been a staunch supporter of his alma mater. He was amongst the first cohort of the Green Gown Guide, playing the role as an HKU ambassador when he was a student.

To further his support, Peter established the Ngan Hon Wing Memorial Scholarship in 2019 to honour his late father. Peter’s father Dr Ngan Hon Wing (MBA 1985) was the first in his family to pursue higher education who strongly believed that education can transform lives and provide opportunities that thought to be out of reach for students with financial needs. The Scholarship aims to support outstanding students with financial difficulties to gain access to university education.

“We pay it forward through education, honouring my late father’s legacy and shaping a brighter future for the next generation”, Peter said.
